Mission Statement

To contribute to the well-being of our local communities and the nation by making significant contributions to deserving local and national charities. UNICO strives to honor, perpetuate and disseminate the culture and ethnic heritage of our Italian immigrant ancestors by supporting higher education and by educating and informing our members, local communities and our nation

President’s Message

It is my pleasure to serve as the 2021-2022 Wilkes-Barre Chapter of UNICO National. The tenets of my presidency will be to focus upon the idea of “Service above Self” while facilitating the camaraderie and the heritage of our membership and community. Our chapter has operated for over 60 years for the benefit of local charitable organizations within the Wilkes-Barre regions and I look forward to continuing this rich history. Several of our members are the third generation of their family to enjoy the benefits of our organization.

I would like to extend an invitation to all those in our community who have an interest in membership in our club, to contact me or any other UNICO member for application information.
